(More customer reviews)Ok, first off, I am NOT a golfer. I bought this stuff to dampen the plinth ofa turntable I use in my hifi system.
The lead tape is just the right thickness and is easy to cut and form. I used this on the under side of the plastic
plinth of a vintage Sony direct drive turntable that had always had issues with feedback when things got
a little loud. This solved the problem! Yea, the turntable weighs a bit more now, but the performance is soooo
much better! The slight rumble that was there before using the lead tape is completely gone. Using this tape in conjunction
with replacing the original output interconnects with high quality Silver Sonic cable has made this turntable dead quiet.
No more hum, no more rumble and no more acoustic feedback! This tape is excellent also for damping the chassis of DVD and CD players.
A very versatile product for video and audiophiles.
